Best way to install Phoenix 2006.20.9.148

This is the best way to install Phoenix 2006.20.9.148. You need only these

1 - Windows XP platform with Sp 2
2 - Nokia Diego v3.07 Sp2.msi
3 - Phoenix 2004 Dongle crack
4 - Phoenix 2006.20.9.148
5 - Phoenix 2006 crack

You do not need any cable driver or phoenix 2004

Before you begin disconnect any Nokia phone connected to the PC and uninstall Nokia PC suit, cable driver, Phoenix or Diego which you have already installed.

Then Follow these steps

1 - Install Nokia Diego 3.07 Sp2.msi
2 - Open the Phoenix 2004 Dongle crack but don’t run it now
3 - Start installing Phoenix 2006.20.9.148. During the installation it will prompt you for the Nokia Dongle.
4 - Press on “Retry” and run the crack immediately. Then press “Yes to all”. If you have done this correctly it will continue installing Phoenix 2006
5 - It will stop installing Phoenix 2006 with a message “DESkey not found” click on “yes” twice. Then it will continue registering DLL files.
6 - If it will prompt you to restart windows, you can restart windows. (Sometimes it will not prompt you to restart windows)
7 - Then Run Phoenix 2006 crack.

Now it will work for you so fine. Really this is a very fresh copy of Phoenix 2006. This copy is better than a mix of Phoenix 2004 & 2006.You will feel it while you installing and working.

100% working & Tested on 4 computers and I have successfully flashed 7 Nokia phones. Just let me know if you will face any problem. I am here to help you.

yeah, thx for this tuto ...

Is it like the other tuto ? We have to uninstall / reinstall all of this if we want to flash again ?

Or only one installation is enough, forever... ?

well, i tried it yesterday. but it didnt work. i have a dead 6630 now, and i dont know what to do now to get it back to work. flasing started well at the beginnen, and after a few seconds it looked like that is was looking/searching for connections to phone something like 1/80 ... 2/80 ... 3/80 ... and i am not sure, but i think it stopped at ~20/80 ... flashing failed. i should take out the battery of phone to get it back to normal work. but as i started the phone again, there is just a white screen, nothing more. as i tried again to flash it, phoenix told me that there is no imei any more and the program tried to find any connection to phone ... connection 1/2 ... 2/2 ... cant get any connection. anyone out there who can help me please ??? i use dku-2 standard cable of 6630

I successfully flashed my 6680 with this 2006 software but it was the version before the one posted here, i was having trouble running phoenix after i restarted the computer 'Dongle not found'. Anyway after installing the version posted in this thread it now works OK after a re-boot,but the problem is now i can't find 'SW update' in the menus at the top of the window in phoenix, it was in 'Flashing/SW Update' but now with this version there is no SW Update menu, which one do i select for updating the firmware on my phone?
Hope you understood that!
Thanks.

Yes, I understood your problem.Be happy, Solution is very simple.

Really I posted this thread to the users who are with good experience about the Flashing of Nokia bb5 phones with the phoenix service software. So, I did not explain about the flashing procedure.

However for your problem follow these instruction.

1- Connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable.Select PC Suit on your phone if asked, Windows will start to install drivers for the phone.
2- After driver installation compleated, Open the Phoenix with your user detail
3- Go to File>Manage Connections
4- If USB is not listed there, Click Add and tick USB and click Next.
5- After found the USB connection click Apply
6- When USB appear in your connection list, Close the connection list window
7- Go to File>Scan Product on Phoenix.
8- It will show the details of your phone in the status bar of the Phoenix.
9- Now go to Flashing Menu. You will see the SW Update have activated for you

Very Very Important : Make sure there is a proper connection between phone and the PC all the time while you use the Phoenix and while flashing in progress. If you will lose the connection while flashing, your phone will become dead.

Do not forget to let others know your result.

Thanks

Really still I could not found the way to perform a dead phone flash to Nokia 6630. I can only for Nokia 7370. However you can try this. But make sure that there is a proper connection in this time.

1- Open Phoenix
2- Go to Manage Connection and make a USB connection and move it to the top of the list.
3- Do not go to Scan Product, go to Open Product and select your product
4- Go to Flash>SW Update. You have to wait for few seconds until it finish scaning even you have not connect your phone yet.
5- After scan compleated, Switch on your mobile up to the point it start for now.
6- Then connect it to the PC via USB cable.
7- Now set the correct Image file and PPM file
8- Press Start
9- If the phoenix will say to press the ON key of your phone just do it, otherwise Ignore all the error messages and go ahead.

Try this first, If this will not work, switch on your phone up to the point it start now and connect it to the PC after the step 2.

I will try to find some another way if this will not work for you. However care about the Cable connection all the time.

Thanks.
