I am looking for route66 v 7.3.468. I have noticed 1 link on this site which is no longer valid. Apparantly this will work with n95 internal gps according to a lot of other sites. Any idea where I can download this from. Any help appreciated

you need to have a working map installed.... needs to go into a /maps folder in the Route 66 directory.

Right. Some maps are incompatible.. (and you get same error) I have no idea how to determined which map is working with what Route 66 version.

I downloaded the the UK_IRL map from the rapidshare link - resource error. Started downloading random "small" maps and found a benelux map that worked -that way I knew the app is working.

Then found a different UK_IRL map what worked as well.

But as UK_IRL map is way outdated - i went back to TomTom.

Got App to work but can get it to read GPS from internal GPS receiver, Does it really work, if so please tell me how to get it to work. Or do i need an external GPS receiver?

I do not know how the Italian guy on youtube get a Route66 work with internal GPS of N95, but I do know this crack does not work with the internal GPS receiver for sure. Do not waste your time on this crack as I did.

If you really wanna try it, you can simply place the contents in "system" folder of the rar or zip file into you micro SD card by SD card reader or usb cable data transformation. Make Sure you have MAP file/s, which are usually big and therefore submitters usually delete them before they update the package. Further, you need to make sure the rest folders are not empty, under the assumption that the submitter did not forget or delete anything in them. I test this version of Route66 by New York map, and as before, I failed. Well, if the software ask you activation code, just put any 16 characters, which is why we call this cracked version.

I am sorry to say that I believe I am using exact the one, I download here. The one I used before was downloaded by Emule, and that file is in my friend's computer. I am pretty sure that I have deleted everything about Route66 before I install this one, since as you know, I need space to try Tomtom.
I can not see why you still wanna try it. I am not the only one conforming it does not work here. One more thing, sometimes you may try to restart you N95 before using a new crack. This problem made me on the wall yesterday.

I installed it and starts no problem. It doesn't use my internal GPS of the N95. When I launch the program it always ask do you want to switch on bluetooth to look for external GPS receiver. Can anyone explain how to set it up to use the internal GPS?

If you used the cracked version you just need to enter any 16 digit code. Use the option register via Internet and enter 1234567891234567

This is the problem in the cracked version you can only use a bluetooth gps.
The internal GPS will only work in the original version with a code.

G'day mate, I got it works on my N73 already but I didn't have GPS receiver yet so it showed No GPS! whenever I run Route 66. I'm waiting for GPS receiver at the moment, just ordered from eBay :D.

As what you said, I think Route 66 couldn't find the map. After install the Route 66 into your SD, then just copy file Australia.prm into Route 66 folder in your SD. The easy way to do it, I just create the Folders like this in my PC:

System\Apps\ROUTE66\maps\

Then put your Australia.prm file into maps folder, then just copy the System folder into your SD. If you still get any problem, just pm me and I'll help you out.

Crack and original does NOT work... And the guy on the video cheated!

It still searches for a bluetooth GPS and doesn't see the internal gps AND EVEN WHEN I START THE GPS ON NOKIA MANUALLY! it doesn't see any satellites nor says that it finds the GPS...

My dealer has a combination of N95 + Route66 so it's definite that there is a version which works on N95 and supports the internal GPS.

But I don't know if the product has to be official or cracked.

I will contact my dealer to get some information.

It is working with internal GPS on N95.I got lock on 6 satelites,it tracks my movment on road.Only I can`t get route calculations to work it crash after I try to calculate route.Can anybody help me with this?Thanx.

I can say this WORKS!

Just a little help for those that are finding it a little difficult.

Firstly go an sign up, do nothing else!

Download the files as mentioned above.

If you have previous installed other releases, thats fine, just uninstall.

Keep your map files on you memory card. Search the forum for the map you want. Read the instructions in the map files on how to install.

Extract all downloads (from links above)

When you extract the SignSis GUI it should startup with the "DevCertRequest" program, if not then locate it on your program files folder/SignSis

FOLLOW the step-by-step instructions.

Then upload your .csr file that the GUI created to the link provided in the app, eg symbiansigned.....

Follow the website's instructions.

Once the upload is successful (may take a few attempts), download the signed cert. Now click on SignSis and load the UNSIGNED N95 .sis file. Make sure you put in a correct output FOLDER name, it creates one, however I had problems with it, so I just named is Route66signed.sis and put it in the root of my C:/ drive.

Once done and all is ok, transfer the NEW .sis to your memory card and install.

It wouldnt install correctly when I selected to install on my memory card, so I tried phone memory and bingo, it is working perfectly.

Thank you VERY VERY much to all that made this possible. Now I dont have to use my bluetooth GPS dongle. Big thanks to TrickyDave!

I had the same problem on my N95. But in my case it was related to the map files I tried to use. When trying another version of the map, it ran perfectly :)

About the Certification Expired thing, i`ve tried to change my phone to one year back it didn`t work, finally i`ve tried one day back it did work, try to change it one day back or one day more it might work :)

please anyone who got errors with resource missing try the hongkong map, finally after 10 times of install/uninstall i`ve discovered that the map i got is courrupted thanks to our member who posted the links specialy the honkong map for testing, MAN you really made my day :D
