Follow instructions carefully to get IM+ Full:

1. Download Trail and install on P990i you can download it at (www.Handango.com.

2. Go to (http://www.shapeservices.com/en/licenceman/standalone.php) and enter licence code f048e3zd7b238ac and then click on 'Reset'.

3. After telling you the code has been reset, quickly open the program on your P990i and enter the SAME licence code as in step 2.

4. You HAVE to be connected to Wireless LAN on your phone to register, it does NOT work with GPRS or WAP. After you enter the code it will connest to the internet and register successfully.

It worked great for me, hope it works for you. :)

Hi I downloaded Advance Call the problem i am facing is that when i try to Activate it - it goes online directly to a web site and that informs me that there is no order from my IMIE # phone .. this i can not activate it.. kindly help :)

Some cruical points missing from the instructions:

1. Download trial version from jdictionary-mobile.com
2. Install it on the media memory/memory card
2a. Connect to your computer and put the phone in Fast File transfer mode.
3. Open AED.jar in installed directory (e.g. \private\F01FA9B6\) with WinRAR
4. Browse to jdictionary->aed->pp->uiq3 you will see alot of .class files
5. Copy l.class in cracked folder to jdictionary->aed->pp->uiq3 via WinRAR
6. Done! Now enjoy the full version

You'll need to put the l.class file in the right folder of the jar file. You might need to uncompress the files, copy over the l.class file, then recompress.

yey, someone thanked me for useful posts.. i feel like sharing more. i finally found full working version for magi-lines uiq3, chinese chess (pro) uiq3, and a good game stpuzzles uiq3, autocam uiq3, tabu uiq3, open screen capture uiq3. ill read up how to upload files in megaupload so yuo can just go directly there rather than me having to email them one by one. the files are cracked already.

i found this lcg jukebox tip for m600 users (my p990 is still new, still getting around to learning it, p990 users pls let us know if this works too)

LCG juke box time limit trick uiq3 1. install lcg jukebox
2. run it for few seconds
3. now go to c/system/data using swiss manager pro
4. find file prcparam.tok
5. copy this file elsewhere say to memory stick
6. when time limit is over u can copy back prcparam.tok from memory stick to
c/system/data

now u can again use it for 1.3 hrs
for those who already exhausted limit should uninstall lcg and delete manually file

c/system/data/prcparam.tok and then reinstall lcg jukebox again and repeat steps 1to 6.
it worked on m600i.

OK... This seems like a no-brainer task. But.... For some reason I have two problems.

1. When I used Fileman to access the c:/private directory, I get an error that says Error on reading folder.

I think it is a permissions issue and don't really know how it was 'activated'. I don't see any option on how to view all folder contents.

2. When I open the PC Suite program, the application installer generates an "Access denied" message which also points back to the permissions problem. Does NE1 know how to resolove this issue?

Here is a program I recently found. Its called LiveTV and is for the P990i. It plays Live TV on your phone. It works great but the problem is you only get 3 channels. I cant figure out how to add more channels. If anyone can add more channels please post here.

You need to put the phone in fast file transfer mode. This makes the phone memory unaccessable and acts as a normal memory card/drive reader. This means you cannot access it through PC Suite or its file manager. Access it through Windows Explorer or similar PC file manager software. (NB: Based on using W950i)

I just "upgraded" my phone from an Imate K-Jam to the SE P990i. I am trying to use my browser on my p990i to surf the internet whilst the phone is in its docking cradle connected to my laptop which is on a broadband connection to the net.

So far I have been unsuccesful. Is there anyway I can achieve this through setting changes?

No call recorder works with UIQ3 phones, I send mail individually to total Recall, ultimate and spycall support and they confirmed the same.
If you have other phone models except UIQ3, suggest search this forum.

That's odd, didn't think it'd be different between UIQ3 models. On w950i you get a little USB icon at the top, when clicked you get to choose between the two modes. Also comes up automatically when USB is connected but I've turned that option off.

Have a look in the phone settings might be burried there for P990.

RD350: there's no need for serial for mcaffee virus scan. just download the link i posted above and install. when you register it asks for your phone number anyhow, so i doubt it's a serial. it doesnt have any limitations anyway

Go to... TOOLS... CONTROL PANEL.... CONNECTIONS... WLAN... Then click on the upper left arrow.... CHECK Enable WLAN...

MSD worked for me... all perfect with the serial, the link is working. I think its due the the eathquack, as through my regualr internet provided megashare.com web site did not open so i hooked up with dialup and it opened.

I've got a sky force crack, did any one need it (only for uiq 3.0 models)?

it's russian file arch, so find the line called - СКАЧАТЬ.

instruction:
1\ download the game, and extract it to folder.
2\ install the game to a flash card of u're mobile
3\ after install in usb mode navigate the folder on you flash card x:\private\A020D913 - delete it.
4\ extract crack and copy folder to x:\private on u're flash card.
5\ restart u\re phone (but I didn't do it)
6\ play the game

edit: yey i finally ran skyforce. i used my sister's p910i phone. its file manager lets you access the private folder. i dont know why they designed p990i's private folder to be inaccessible during phone mode. it's a stupid design. they should give us total freedom to manipulate our files. anyway if something bad will happen then it will be at our own risk

Hey guys...

dl'd chess v 2.00(11) F from this post and just wondering if anyone else is having problems? It works great for about 5 to 10 minutes then it starts to slow down, like the phone is out of memory. smpro's graph doesn't show high cpu or low mem condition, but after each move it seems the response of the phone is worse until it finally crashes and I have to reboot it.

Any ideas? Thanks...

these issues are due to the handset problem rather than due to the program.... The more we use a program the more the memory leaks that occurs and finally it restarts to restore the ram...
what can be done at this time is just wait for the new firm ware to be released and should be due in a few weeks time

Hello and Happy New Year to all! This may sound lame, but I cannot seem to access, or browse the "Private" folders (or sys folders), on my SEP990i (ROM, C: DRIVE, and CARD DRIVE). I have Swiss Manager Pro UIQ3, and MyFileMan installed on my phone but they won't allow me to access these folders (I get messages like "Protected" and "Error" when I try to browse them). I also use the generic Sony Ericsson "file manager program" for smartphone on my PC but even this won't show me these files. I have tried to "Explore" via PC but no luck So is there a trick, or a program even, that I can use to browse/change these files on my SEP990i? Much appreciated :)

Danjou175: currently no filemanager software for uiq3 exists that can do that. what you can do is set your phone to accept usb transfers when you connect your phone to your pc. go to tools, control panel, device, connection, USB.

or if you have a friend who has a p910i, its file manager can let you access private folders. that's what i did since i left my usb cable in the office so i borrowed my sis' p910i phone

I've seen a few posts about encoding videos for the P990/M600/W950, so i thought you guys might like a heads up on some freeware i've been writing.
It's a video converter, a bit like 'super', but specifically for playback on phones (also does music for SE phones too - mp3/aac/aac+/eaac+ output formats).
In the latest alpha version i added support for P990/M600 workarounds, to avoid the long pause when you open a video. I've tested videos on my P990 but if anyone wants to give it a try too...
a quick bit of info:
Working playback for the P990 is at up to 1.5mbit video bitrate in MPEG-4, 192kbit audio in AAC. The preset for the P990 defaults to 650kbit MPEG-4 @ 320x240 25fps, with 96kbit LC-AAC audio, and this gives truly DVD quality video playback on the phone, absolutely zero pixelation or artifacts on the most complex video content.
output is also encoded using the XviD codec, which gives great quality that's a LOT better on mobile devices compared to Nero Recode, mpegable, imtoo, etc etc.
input formats include mpeg/dat/avi/mp4/mov/flv/rmvb, and you can also convert the main movie or episodes straight from a DVD (pop the DVD in the drive, select the title to rip, click convert, put it on your phone).
conversion options include stereo downmixing, audio normalisation to improve volume level, subtitle support, movie splitting (default 30 minute chunks), and several widescreen options such as auto cropping widescreen to 4:3 aspect to fill the phone screen, removing encoded letterboxing, adding letterboxing, and encoding to widescreen pixel resolutions.

the fast file transfer mode as it is known in the w950i is basically the file transfer mode in the p990i. just go to connection usb and change it from phone mode to file transfer and what it does is it makes the phone into a memeroy card reader.

I too hate the fact that the W950i does not have the applications you mentioned. I don't know if anyone has downloadable versions of Quickoffice, but there is a better program called "Documents to Go" that is listed in the previous pages that does a lot more than what Quickoffice does. Also if you look in the previous pages there are a few posts giving the serial for McAfee.

Anyone noticed a problem with swissmanager pro and the new p990 update? The program is being forced to shut down and thats causing a phone error.

havent had this problem on my p990, the only problem with swiss pro is the autorun after restart issue, which, wont be resolved, at least not until the next firmware update (but i dont think it will be resolved anyway!!), and i also believe your posting in the wrong topic, your post isnt relavent here..

Just run the keygen on your computer using "Windows 95 Compatibility Mode" (right click on the keygen -> properties -> compatibility tab -> check the tick box). That's it! Now you can edit your post and delete your IMEI so that you won't show it to the world. Hope this helps!

Overview

first on my waitlist should be a program to record conversations. Does anyone know whether such software is under research/development or it is a lost cause? Also APM seems useful sinse our phones have no blacklist.
Oxygen phone manager 2.12 for symbian phones is a must have, but to my knowledge no crack is available yet

I'm a newby with a P990 owner with the same problem as most of the users here - damned if I can get a crack for Worldmate pro! If anyone has any new thoughts on that one I'd be very grateful indeed :)

I have tried Oxygen Phone Manager 2.12 for Symbian but was looking for another solution if available.

i have tried to install factbook 3 right away rather than the v2.62 with the serial no. but it doesnt work. the code i provided within this thread doesnt either. can anyone else confirm if the serial works if you install v2.62 first or something?

Funny... it worked for me... wht i did was install ver 2.6 after that used the code & passwd provided in code.txt

Just my viewpoint,.... being java, i felt it opening slow on my m600i also using it was not great as touch screen does not work... also i hardly found it useful.... when i searched for Bombay/Mumbai in India it did not have it ...what the point of the software... i wonder.... !!!

well the new version does not have autostart,,,, its confirmed by its manufacturer...
SE has disabled autostart features from the new firmware onwards,,, its a security feature...

i also would like to upgrade to the new firmware. i just have to find a service center here to do that. but i wish to backup my contacts first, duno if it's possible? coz i also want the images to my contacts saved as well. i cant even gain access. hopefully new filemanagers iwll let us access sensitive areas. after all, it will be our risk if we want to tweak it.

amarsah: thanks. just didnt want to test installing v2.6 then v3 after installing v3 first. the file is so huge and well, java.. it crawls.. and true youd have to use the side wheel to navigate it. doesnt work on touchscreen.

I found a free java application, its called Nav4All. Great navigation program for many phones. Works great on the P990i. It requires you to be connected to GPRS to download the maps while its guiding you. TomTom is still much better, but this is a good program for those people not willing to download 1gb of tomtom maps on your memorystick.

on your phones browser go to www.nav4all.com/install and it will automatically detect your phone.
