How to connect your phone to internet via pc without any payment....

1.Download these programs.

Java Developers KIT (=Java Developer Kit 5.0.6. Windows)
Sony Ericsson Developer Kit (=J2ME SDK 2.2.3)

2.Install the first program and then the second one to your pc. Programs are secure (Maybe your antivirus program or securitywall can react.)

A. How to emulate your java games and applications.

1.START-> Programs-> Sony Ericsson ->J2ME SDK-> WTK 2

1. Default Device Selection: (Mine SonyEricsson_W800_Emu)

2. "Run MIDP Application".

Note: You must have the *.jad file for your java game or application. I think most of you have only the *.jar file. Don't worry.
Download JADMaker

Start this program. A gray windows appears. "Drag and drop" the *.JAR-Files on the gray window. Then a *.jad file in the same folder as *.jar file will be created. Or another option right click menu (Try and find this yourself.)

You choose this *.jad file and the game or application begins on emulator. You can use keyboard or mouse.

For old black&white games or apps. use
START-> Programms-> Sony Ericsson ->J2ME SDK-> WTK 1 ->Run MIDP Application

B. Connecting to internet with your phone via the Internetconnection of your PC.

The two programs mentioned above must be installed.

On your phone:

Menu-> Settings-> Connectivity->Data comm.->Data accounts

Now create a "New Account"

GPRS-Connection
Name : wireless
DNS-Addres: empty
Username : empty
Passwort : empty

Then save this account. Then go to
Menu-> Settings-> Connectivity->Internet Settings->Internet Profiles

Create "New Profile"

Name: Wireless
Connect using: (Select Data account "wireless" you crated before.)
Internet mode: http
Use PROXY: yes
PROXY-Address: 192.168.XYZ.UVW. (Your IP-Address.)
Portnummer: 8080
Username: empty
Password: empty

Note: You can find your ipaddress www.whatismyip.com

Then save this profile. Then go to
Menu-> Settings-> Connectivity->Settings for java-> Here you select internet profile wireless you created. If you make mistake you should pay money from your accont. Be careful.

Now you need a Webbrowser. I recommend Opera mini

Install this file on your phone into applications.

Now connect your phone to your pc via bluetooth, USB Cable or Infrared Connection. I tried this with infrared connection.

Go ahead.
START-> Programs-> Sony Ericsson ->J2ME SDK

"Connection Proxy"

"Setting"

Port Name: (infrared device or COM... for bluetooth or cable)
Maximum Baud Rate: 921600

Then click on "Connect" button.

Now on start menu:
START-> Programms-> Sony Ericsson ->J2ME SDK
"Device Explorer"
On the left window you can see all Java Programs on your phone. Activate from the File menu Serial Networking.

Then restart "Device Explorer". On the left window you can see all Java Programs on your phone. Double click here your Webbrowser (Opera Mini) (Not on your phone!) Now the program starts on your phone.

Yes you can browse free now. Enjoy yourself.

This is independent from gsm network. You don't use gsm network. You don't pay. I haven't tried it with a nokia phone. I don't know it works. But the sdk is for sonyericcsson only. friends can try it with a nokia phone with j2me sdk perhaps.
