Hi guys, Ive spent a good 4 hours downloading apps, games etc.... (Which by the way this forum is AWESOME and a great source of apps and games)
I need you guys to help me out! I have a HTC phone with Windows Mobile 6 pro. and none of the apps I downloaded works... I dont know if Im doing something wrong or what.... but I really want to play Worms World Party, a good Sudoku, Age of Empires some good apps etc.... Can someone help me out? I dont know if my windows version is not compatible or what.... Any ideas??

Archives were and are split into separate files to make downloading easier. When connections weren't particularly reliable, if you lost your connection during a download you could start up again with the file you were downloading at the time of the disconnect. If it was one large file you would have to start from scratch unless the server supported resuming.

If it is a multiple archive it will probably be done with rar - you should notice the files start with .rar then proceed to be numbered .00, .01 and up to the final file which is normally smaller than the preceding files. You need to download and install Winrar and then open the archive with the .rar file. When you extract the containing files, the rest will be done for you assuming all the files are in the same folder.

Right guys, I'm really sorry to have to ask what I am about to ask - but I am really pulling my hair out trying to install tomtom on my Tytn II with U.K & Ireland maps I have already had to hard reset my phone several times

I have recently picked a vodafone 1615 as a insurance replacement for a P990. I must admit i never new much about this phone until reading up on it online and finding out it was kaiser TyTn2 whichi is a beast of a phone.
I also got loads of things in the box like tomtom and accessories so as you can see i am very happy

I need to know a few things.

1) I understand you can chnage the rom on this phone
Is it easy?
What is the benefit?

The questions about the rom etc... I have no clue bro. I also have the HTC TyTN II, the .exe wont install directly on the phone like the .cab but all you have to do is connect to your pc with the Active Sync and run the .exe it will install automatically to your phone, then your phone will prompt you the where to save/install phone or SD. and you r done! If you have any good apps let me know, maybe we can exchange some.

Actually if you download it and get it to work it should open youtube the original page. Cause I go with my WM6 and it opens automatically a youtube mobile page and not even half of the videos are there... so kinda $uck$...

Well dude with the youtube issue if you just go with your explorer, you will hit a mobile version of the page and it $uck$. The other dude said that Flash Player 7 works for him so that should do the trick... Im gonna try and I will let you know... If you get it to work let me know!

Also I dont know if you guys have a program called Streaming Media... kinda looks like the normal media player... the thing is that when you go to connect it requests a link that starts with rtsp:// and I have no idea of what pages like that would work. SO if you know about ANY of these pages or where can I find a list of them let me know so I can use it!

Ok guys got it!
Download Flash 7 for PPC just download the .CAB file... using active sync copy it to your device/card and run it!

Open youtube and at the bottom of the page there's a link view desktop version or something like that click on it and you are good to go!

Have you tried opera while installing the flash plugin.
I have managed to get it loading up on my vodafone 1615 but video and audio is really choppy. Deos anybody know of way of playing youtube with ease.

When I go to watch a YouTube vid on-line it automatically opens up in the Tcpmp player
I only use this with my wifi so not sure if it works via GPRS/Wap

Guys back to the flash issue.... So with Opera and a flash plugin should work right? I just dont understand what saps the memory thing? It freezes the phone? Please let me know!

oh by the way found a program called JBlend you can download TONS of java game (like Nokia Ngage) and stuff! just did and works like a charm!!! oh and they are very small so I downloaded a TON of Games!! If anyone is interested let me know... Ill hook you up!

About your phone Java enabled... well mine (HTC TyTnII) comes with a program called JBlend... yours should have it too!, but I use it to play java games (millions out there! Ngage and other in threads like thisone). Dont think we can use it for flash....

Well Jblend is a (Java midlet manager) supports JSR 139, JSR 118, JSR 185, JSR 184, and JSR 75 that came with my phone... HTC TyTn II, it can run any java app and games... its pretty cool and lite so its worth it. Im pretty sure you will like it..

Dude same thing happened to me... there is another file where the program was installed its a reseter... just click on it and you get another 3 days... and there you go do that everytime.

Select Subtitle: DVD movies often provide multi-languages for watching, you could select anyone you want, and there also has a “No Subtitle” option for you.
Select Audio: Audio setting is similar with Subtitle; you could select anyone you want.
Select output path: the default path is C:\Program Files\Wondershare\Pocket DVD Ripper\Output\ you could change it at your pleasure.
Select Format: There are three choices for you, WMV/WMA/MP3, WMA and MP3 are audio format, if someone just wants the music from the movie without video (for example, you just want the songs from the DVD concert) you could select MP3 or WMA format, then you can enjoy it on your MP3 player.

Step5.Start Converting
After prepare all things, you could click “Start” button to begin the conversion. Then a small window will be popped up.

1. DVD subtitle (sub picture), language: It is recommended to use the native DVD menu in the preview panel to set subtitle (sub picture) and language. You may also change the subtitle (sub picture), language in the program's Options menu, but there are some DVDs that require the change must be made in the native DVD menu instead of the program's menu.
2. Video Frame Rate: Known as Frame per Second (FPS). It refers to the number of pictures displayed in 1 second in order to form continuous motions. The default frame rate is “keep original frame”. You may choose 30fps (29.97 actually) get more continuums motions. When selecting 30fps, increase the movie quality and size a little bit. This is because more frames need some amount of additional motion data to be stored.
3. Crop DVD Clips: After loading the DVD files to be converted, while playing the DVD, a yellow frame will appear beside the scene, you could drag the yellow line to cut any parts you don’t want, and then only the desired section of the DVDs will be converted.
4. Audio Sample Rate: The higher audio sample rate, the better audio quality. There are 3 audio quality modes to choose: 22050 Hz, 32000 Hz and 44100 Hz.
5. Audio Volume: You can set proper volumes of the export from the drop down list; the available ratio range is from 0% to 200%. Once 0% is selected, the audio track in the source file will be ignored.

In Tank Ace 1944 you command a World War II tank charging to occupy the enemy capitol. Allied and Soviet Tank Aces advance on Berlin; German Aces advance on London and Moscow. At least that's what the orders from HQ say. But since you face overwhelming odds and are forced to scavenge supplies as you go, you might just find yourself retreating instead.

The goal of each round of play is to clear the enemy from a map sector and drive them off the far bank of a river so that your side can cross and advance. Skills you will need to accomplish this are a working trigger finger, the ability to navigate West or East (left and right on the overhead map), and driving ability sufficient to crash into other vehicles.

A status panel shows the number of enemies left, rounds remaining, fuel, and armor strength. The last three can be replenished by ramming (not shooting) an enemy truck. If you run out of fuel or armor, or for some reason drive your tank into the water, in addition to an untimely death you will be forced to retreat one sector.

If you wipe out the enemies you will advance one sector, retaining any excess supplies you have scavenged. The game ends when you take the enemy capitol, or they overrun yours. Either way the brass will want to have a talk with you.
