the serial number is engraved on the side of the radio, not on stickers

activating the code

Press and hold the AS button and switch the set on. The display will show 'CODE' followed by . Enter the code using presets 1-4 and again press the AS button. The set will now operate.

special equipment such as Joule a400 needed to do this my friend then code will be 100% correct.

I guess there´s easier ways to get the code...

Anyway, do u have a code calculator? or from where u got the code on above post?

give me the serial number for the radio and i'll make a code for you.

The above is meant if you ever need to change the code or read it, if the calculated code is incorrect.

Thanks for the code, I went try it, but now I have another problem.

I have only 6 tries, but with ignition off, just appears "SAFE", if I turn ignition on appears "6 -.-.-.-" but when I click stations keys to enter the codes, keys seem not to work... I mean I click, but no digit appears...

I read somewhere that something like this happends, to leave radio on for an hour or 2, that after will be able to enter the code.
Is it true? Or you know how to solve it? Or is something badly connected, since I had to take it off to see the SN?
